Frequently asked questions
How often do you need filler?
Most fillers last 12 to 18 months, depending on the area treated and the type of filler used. Your provider will help guide you on what’s best for your goals.
What is the difference between Botox & Fillers?
Botox relaxes muscles to smooth wrinkles, while fillers restore volume and enhance facial features. They’re often used together for the best overall rejuvenation.
Do treatments hurt?
We use a topical numbing cream to keep you comfortable. Most patients describe the treatment as very tolerable, with only minor pressure or a quick pinch.
Will I look overdone?
Our goal is always natural, balanced results. We enhance your features so you look refreshed — never “overfilled.”
Who is a good candidate for dermal fillers?
Fillers are ideal for adults looking to restore lost volume, smooth lines, or enhance natural features. During your consultation, we’ll personalize a plan just for you.
Post Care Tips
After your filler appointment, we recommend avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, excess salt, saunas, or hot tubs for the first 24 hours to minimize swelling. Do not press or massage the treated area unless instructed by your provider. You can gently apply makeup after 24 hours, and using a cool compress during the first day can help reduce swelling or bruising. Final results typically appear within 1–2 weeks as the filler settles. If you notice unusual side effects such as significant pain or skin blanching, contact our office right away.
