Frequently asked questions

How often do I need to schedule a treatment?

For best results you should book treatments every 3-4 months. Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks before any special event to allow time for full results and adjustments if needed.

What pre and post care is required for tox treatments?

To help minimize bruising and ensure the best results:

Before your appointment

  • Stop blood thinning supplements 3-5 days before treatment
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or aspirin for 3-5 days prior (unless prescribed by your doctor)

After your appointment

  • Avoid rubbing, massaging or applying pressure to treated areas for 24 hours
  • Skip strenuous exercise, saunas, hot tubs and tanning beds for 24 hours
  • Makeup can be gently applied 4 hours after if needed
  • Small bumps or redness at injection sites usually resolve within an hour
What is the difference between Botox & Dysport?

Both Botox® and Dysport® are FDA-approved neurotoxins that work by relaxing the muscles responsible for expression lines and wrinkles. The main differences come down to how quickly results appear and how the product spreads once injected. They are very similar with subtle differences that your provider can explain to you at your appointment.

Do treatments hurt?

The injections feel like tiny pinches. Most patients find them very tolerable, and we can use ice or topical numbing for added comfort.

Can I combine tox with other treatments?

Yes! We often pair Botox & Dysport with dermal fillers, laser treatments, or facials for a more comprehensive refresh. If scheduling our team will ensure you have your appointments in the correct order for best results.
